Brittney was born and raised in Holland, MI. However, there are two more places that she holds near to her heart—Arequipa, Peru and Chicago—having lived in each. Brittney earned her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and Spanish from Calvin University, and she graduated with her Master of Social Work degree from Grand Valley State University. She is a fully licensed social worker in the State of Michigan LMSW), as well as a Clinically Certified Anxiety Treatment Professional for Children and Adolescents CCATP-CA).

Driven by her belief that everyone is worthy of love and belonging, Brittney is passionately dedicated to supporting children, teens, and their families in navigating the complexities of mental health. She finds profound joy in fostering resilience and empowering youth to overcome their challenges through therapy rooted in evidence-based approaches. She strives to create a safe, inclusive space where individuals feel seen, heard, and supported. Brittney specializes in working with anxiety related diagnoses, stress, depression, life transitions, and the development of coping skills.

Outside of work, Brittney is someone who loves to explore new places and experiences, whether that’s a new coffee shop, hiking trail, or sunset. You’ll often see her with a book in hand or one of her favorite beverages (Diet Dr. Pepper, coffee, boba tea). She loves her people and enjoys investing in her time with them. That, and cuddling with her two cats: Peru and Hondo.
